Fight an alien invasion with the help of the Transformers

Transformers: Reactivate is a sci-fi multiplayer video game developed by Splash Damage based on the popular Transformers media franchise from Hasbro. In the game, you play a Transformer tasked with fighting back against The Legion with the help of other Autobots – a primary faction in Transformer's mythology.

Transformers: Reactivate follows releases like Transformers: Devastation and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, two games in a long list of video game adaptations and continuations of the Transformers television and film series.

A continuation of the Transformers storyline

Set in a post-apocalyptic world ruled by The Legion, described as “the greatest threat the Autobots have ever faced”, humanity has turned to the Transformers to reclaim Earth as we know it with the help of a newly reactivated Transformer.

As suggested in the game’s cutscenes, the story could also involve the Autobots teaming up with the Decepticons – the main antagonists in the Transformers universe – to defeat The Legion with the help of remnant humans.

A mix of new and old

Transformers: Reactivate features many familiar characters from the Transformers universe as well as new ones introduced who debut in the game. Playable Autobots include Hot Rod, Ironhide, Sunstreaker, Windblade, Ratchet, Starscream, Soundwave, Slipstream, Shockwave, and Bumblebee, the titular “reactivated” Transformer.

The game also includes several human characters, some of whom date back to Generation 1, the original Transformers toy line and television show. These include Andrea Faireborn, daughter of Marissa Faireborn, and Marcus Arving, a new character previously unknown in Transformer's mythos.

A focus on co-op gameplay

An improvement on Transformers: Devastation, which was only a single-player “hack and slash”, Transformers: Reactivate has a co-op focus, allowing you and three other players to team up in the multiplayer game as your favorite Autobots to save humanity from The Legion. For fans of the franchise, it offers a new way to experience the ongoing saga.
